PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelving device for a showcase which enables the continuous stable use of an engagement member serving as a movement control member for a shelf board. SOLUTION: This shelving device is provided with the shelf board 21 on which goods are placed, shelf supports 22 for supporting the shelf board 21, and coupling members 23 each of which connects a movable plate 232 to the shelf board 21, and a fixed plate 231a to one of the shelf supports 22 likewise, so as to make the shelf board 21 slidable in the back and forth direction. Either the movable plate 232 of the coupling member 23 or the shelf support 22 is provided with a hard engagement member 24, whereas the rest of each of them is provided with an engagement slot 225 into which the hard engagement member 24 is removably fitted. Thanks to this structure, by merely handling the engagement member 24, the connection or disconnection between the shelf support 22 and the shelf board 21 can be made very easily. Moreover, the engagement member 24 being made of a solid bar, is enhanced in strength, which imparts a stronger engaging capability to the shelf board 21 as well as achieving the long and stable use.
