PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a resin hollow body by which the resin hollow body with an internal partial smooth face can be efficiently manufactured without after-processing. SOLUTION: A resin material for a shell constitution is injected from a gate of a mold 10 to a cavity 15 between a core and the inner face of the mold 10. Next, the mold 10 is released and a slide core 13 is pulled out. Consequently, only a soluble core 14 formed of a soluble material (a water-soluble resin material) is left intact in the shell 1, so that the shell 1 with the soluble core 14 is soaked in a hot water and the soluble core 14 is dissolved and removed.
