<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronization adjusting device and a synchronization adjusting method for accurately synchronizing a plurality of types of received reproduction data and reproducing the synchronized reproduction data. <P>SOLUTION: This synchronization adjusting device being a client requests a server to distribute streaming reproduction information, and the server distributes reproduction special data as well as reproduction main body data to be first reproduced. Both the reproduction main body data and the reproduction special data consist of three types of data being playing data, audio data and image data, and the synchronization adjusting device first reproduces the reproduction special data among the data received from the server. The moving picture of the pendulum of a metronome is reproduced in beat intervals from the image data of the reproduction special data, and click sounds respectively generated in beat intervals are reproduced from the playing data and the audio data. A user looks at the moving picture of the metronome with the eyes, listens to each click sound with the ears and adjusts the synchronization of the respective data by operating prescribed operators.
