METHOD AND EQUIPMENT FOR PACKAGING COMPONENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for packaging a component in which a component feeding section is prevented from moving uselessly to prolong the working time when packaging equipment packages a component on a multiple pattern board where a pattern region having a failure region not being packaged and a pattern region being packaged exist mixedly.

SOLUTION: According to the order of pattern numbers predetermined to skip the pattern regions corresponding to failure regions, a component feeding section 3 arranged with a plurality of component feed cassettes 2 is reciprocated in the forward/reverse direction thus feeding the components to respective pattern regions alternately in the forward order and the reverse order.
