PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate for a packaging material having a metal vapor- deposited film, which uses plastics having heat resistance at the time of vapor metal deposition and having high joining properties with another member of the laminate as raw material plastics, as one member and imparting a sophisticated feel of metallic touch to an appearance of a packaged product. SOLUTION: This laminate comprises a printing layer (A), a polyethylene layer (B) formed of a straight-chain low-density polyethylene, manufactured with the use of a metallocene catalyst, on which aluminum is vacuum vapor- deposited, a paper layer (C) and an polyolefin layer (D), all these layers being joined together in that order. In addition, the printing layer (A) and the polyethylene side of the polyethylene layer (B), and the aluminum vapor-deposited side and the paper layer (C) are adjacent to each other respectively.
