PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blast medium and a blast treatment method that preclude a degradation in an antistatic function even after repeated use and prevent a problem of contamination and the like of a treated surface. SOLUTION: The blast medium, which is used in dry blast treatment, comprises resin particles whose base material is a resin material. The resin particles include 3 wt.% or more of low conductivity resin particles of a surface resistivity of 10<SP>12</SP>Ωor less. Preferably, the low conductivity resin particles include either or both of metallic and carbonaceous antistatic agents, and the resin material is a thermoplastic elastomer or a thermosetting resin.
