The present invention relates to a device and a method to recommend cosmetics. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a step of collecting and storing profile information of a first user; a step of calculating similarity between the profile information of the first user and profile information of one or more second users, stored in a user profile information storage unit; a step of classifying the second user whose calculated similarity is a predetermined threshold or more into a second user group, so as to extract a first preferred cosmetics group based on cosmetics evaluation information of each second user belonging to the second user group; a step of generating a cosmetics recommendation list based on the first preferred cosmetics group; and a step of providing the cosmetics recommendation list to the first user. Accordingly, an opportunity capable of selecting a desired product among huge amounts of information relating to the cosmetics is provided to a user. |
