<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate resume processing by calling the entry of a device driver corresponding to a device necessitating power up, which is registered in a second register means, at the time of judging the existance of a device necessitating power up by means of a judging means. SOLUTION: The first register means of a memory 6 registers the device necessitating power up from among a mouse 2, a hard disk 3, a floppy disk 4 and a display 5, and the second register means of the memory 6 registers the entry of the device driver starting each of these devices. When the judging means of CPU 7 judges that there is a device necessitating power up, an entry calling means calls the entry of the device driver corresponding to the device necessitating power up which is registered in the second register means of the memory 6. Thereby resume processing is accelerated.</p> |
