<p>PURPOSE: To control winding and unwinding tension constant even at the time of acceleration and deceleration by correcting the rates of change of acceleration and deceleration rates according to the tension deviations of the winding and the unwinding. CONSTITUTION: The acceleration and the deceleration patterns of MRH are generated by a speed pattern generator 32 by acceleration and deceleration commands from an operator. At this time, rolling mill speed command value MRH is changed while correcting an acceleration and deceleration rate change widthβby using a winding and unwinding tension detected value Tfb from a tension detector 50 installed in a line and a tension standard value Tref which is previously given. Based on this rolling mill speed command value MRH, the terminal voltage of a rolling mill motor 26 is controlled by a rolling mill speed controller 30 so that a rolling speed is matched with the rolling mill speed command value MRH. A reel motor current standard value Iref by which each reel tension coincides with the tension standard value Tref, is calculated by a reel current standard calculator 48 installed on each reel control system from the tension standard value Tref of each reel and a coil diameter D, and a reel motor current is controlled by a reel current controller 46.</p> |
