PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a yarn guide section as short as possible with a traverse guide because the quality of yarn may be deteriorated, in a traversing device which is equipped with a traverse guide having a guide surface and two rotating blades disposed in yarn traveling directions and rotating them in an opposite direction to each other, and traverses the yarn wound around a bobbin along the guide surface with the rotating blades. SOLUTION: The traverse guides 71, 72 consist of a pair of members provided on both ends of traversing width, and retaining portions 40b, 40b, 41b, 41b are provided on the rotational direction side of both ends of vertical rotating blades 40, 41.
