<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column base hardware for a steel pipe column used for a road sign, a floodlight, or the like, and having a long service life without stress concentration. <P>SOLUTION: This column base hardware 1 for the steel pipe column comprises a base part 1a fixed to a foundation 2, and a rising part 1b connected to the steel pipe column 3. The outer diameter of a lower end part of the rising part is larger than the outer diameter of the steel pipe column, and gradually narrowed upward, while the outer diameter of an upper end part is almost equal to the outer diameter of the steel pipe column.
