<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having the improved picture degradation due to discharge flickering phenomena and an improved aging characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: A first substrate 2 is provided with a pair of discharge sustaining electrodes 4 arranged in parallel, a second substrate 3 is provided with an address electrode 8, and the pair of discharge sustaining electrodes 4 and the address electrode 8 are faced to each other so as to cross each other on both sides of a discharge space. The discharge space is partitioned by a barrier rib 10 to form cells 12 so as to include a crossing part between the pair of discharge sustaining electrodes 4 and the address electrode 8, and adsorption films 11 are disposed in the cells 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
