<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate responsiveness of a servomotor to variations in inertia. <P>SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an inertia varying mechanism 2 being rotatable and having inertia moment variable in size, and a rotary mechanism 12 for rotating the mechanism 2. The mechanism 2 is equipped with a casing 3 being rotatable, a screw shaft 4 rotatably provided in the casing 3, a variable inertia motor 5 for rotatively driving the shaft 4, arms 6 for varying the radius of rotation so as to follow the rotation of the shaft 4, and weights 7 attached to the arms 6. The mechanism 12 is equipped with a slip ring 14 for supplying electric current to the motor 5. When the mechanism 12 is rotated with a tested body 20 joined to the mechanism 12, the mechanism 2 is rotatively driven. By rotating the motor 5, the weights 7 vary their radius of rotation by means of the arms 4 to vary their inertia moment in size. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
