<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the handleability of a user by inhibiting the editing processings of the registration/deletion/replacement, etc., of data in the case that a data base capacity reaches a stipulated size. <P>SOLUTION: A document management system registers documents in a data base possessed by a relational data base server and manages them. Whether or not the capacity of the data base reaches a prescribed limit capacity is judged, and in the case of judging that it reaches the prescribed limit capacity, an identifier indicating that it is in an editing inhibited state is added to the data base so as to inhibit the editing actions of the registration/deletion/ replacement to the data base. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
