PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code-rewinding apparatus which allows a safe disassembling operation and secures a performance stability for a long period of time and to provide an iron using it. SOLUTION: Because an electrode-holding board for this code-rewinding apparatus and a cover are constituted as different parts and are detachable from each other, dusts and dirts accumulated around electrodes A and B are easily removed after the electrode-holding board is removed from the cover. Because the contained items such as a reel, a power code and the like do not come out and only the electrode-holding board can be made of a flame-retarding material, the flame-retardancy of its charging part can be achieved with a minimum amount of the material. Thus, a cheap constitution is possible and the cover, which does not need to be a flame-retarding material, can be transparent to make it easy to check the housing condition of the power code.
