<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of an instrument and to scan a cornea with laser light without using a galvanometer mirror. <P>SOLUTION: The cornea laser surgical instrument has a laser light source emitting laser light causing ablation on the cornea, an optical fiber guiding laser light from the laser light source, an irradiation unit to which the emitting end side of the optical fiber is attached and having an irradiation optical system forming laser light emitted from the optical fiber into a spot beam of a prescribed size and irradiating the cornea with the spot beam, a displacement means displacing the position of laser light emitted from the optical fiber with respect to the optical axis of the irradiation optical system, and a control means controlling the displacement means on the basis of cut amount data for forming the cornea into an expected shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
