<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition useful as the recording layer of a positive planographic printing plate precursor, excellent in film forming property and film strength and giving an exposed area rapidly soluble in an aqueous alkali solution when exposed with IR. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition comprises (A) a vinyl polymer comprising a carboxylic copolymerized component and having ≥2.0 meq/g carboxyl content in one molecule and <21.3 MPa<SP>1/2</SP>solubility parameter, (B) a high molecular compound having a phenolic hydroxyl group and (C) an infrared absorber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
