<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information inputting device for controlling a plurality of functions only by inserting/extracting a pen member into/from a pen housing part with a simple mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: This information inputting device 10 is provided with a display part for displaying information, an input part for inputting an instruction by using a pen member 12, and a pen housing part 16 for inserting and housing the pen member 12 in the axial direction. The axial angle position of the pen member 12 to be inserted into the pen housing part 16 is set so as to be fixed to any of a plurality of predetermined angle positions in accordance with the shape of the pen member 12 and the shape of the pen housing part 16.
