PURPOSE: A method for preventing a call on a cellular phone while driving as saving a battery is provided to record driving time and a message before driving, and to convert into a deep sleep mode, then to inform an other party of call available start time with the message, thereby implementing driver safety. CONSTITUTION: A cellular phone user retrieves a menu before driving(S1), and selects a drive mode setup from the menu(S2). The user inputs expected arrival time as seeing a display(S3,S4,S5). Information on inputted driving time is transmitted to a base station server. When the user completes recording a message or omits the message recording, a controller of a cellular phone delivers a signal for converting into a deep sleep mode to the base station server, and operates in the deep sleep mode(S9).
