The present invention relates to a method of molding a fiber reinforced resin article, comprising the steps of placing at least one fiber mat in a mold; injecting a resin into said mold; and impregnating said fiber mat with said resin to form said article, wherein it is provided a step of disposing means in said fiber mat for allowing a flow of said resin therethrough, and to a fiber reinforced resin article comprising at least one fiber mat embedded in a resin body, wherein resin flow supporting means is provided in said fiber mat.
