<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hot dip metal-coated steel plate of uniform coating deposition and excellent surface property with a warping shape suppressed over the total length of the steel plate, and a manufacturing facility for the hot dip metal-coated steel plate. <P>SOLUTION: In this method for manufacturing a hot dip metal-coated steel plate, when an electromagnet 5 to apply the magnetic force in the direction across a surface of the steel plate is provided in a vicinity of a gas reducer 4, and the warping shape of a steel plate S is corrected in a non-contact manner by adjusting the current of the electromagnet 5, the current of the electromagnet 5 is determined to a preset value based on steel plate information. At a steel plate material changing point from a preceding plate to a succeeding plate, the current is changed to the preset value based on steel plate information of the succeeding plate as the changing point passes through the electromagnet installation position. A steel shape measuring unit 11 or a unit 12 for measuring the coating deposition on the steel plate is provided on the downstream side of the gas reducer, and the current of the electromagnet 5 may be corrected based on information measured by these measuring units. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
