<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique by which even a receiver incapable of viewing and listening to a stereoimage is allowed to view the stereoimage as an ordinary video as well as a receiver capable of viewing and listening to the stereoimage by separately transmitting the signals consisting of a video signal for the right eye and a signal for the left eye in a stereoimage system. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission system 100 transmits the related information for L-related video signal for L and then transmits the related information for R-related video signal for R. A receiver 200 stores the video signal for L transmitted from the transmission system 100 in a storage section 203. Then, the receiver 200 having received the video signal for R transmitted from the transmission system 100 reads the video signal for L stored in the storage section 203 based on the related information for R contained in the received video signal for R and puts together the read video signal for L and the received video signal for R to display the stereoimage on a display section 210. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
