<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a salt rich in mineral content, having fine particle size, free from bitterness by bittern and excellent in gustatory property by reducing loss of the mineral content originally contained in seawater as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The salt rich in mineral is obtained by directly heating, drying/roasting seawater at a high temperature, preferably heating, drying/roasting the seawater by method bringing the seawater into contact with a high-temperature disk. Risk of contamination by microorganisms can be lowered by using seawater in Antarctic Ocean as a raw material, preferably by directly heating, drying/roasting the seawater on site. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
