<p>New derivatives of pyridilethanol (phenylethyl) amines are described, having formula I where n means an integer from 1 to 4; R1 is a hydrogen atom, hydroxyl group or a lower C1-6 alkoxy group; R2 is a hydrogen atom or a lower C1-6 alkyl group with straight or branched chain; X is a hydrogen atom, fluorine, chlorine, bromine, hydroxyl group, trifluormethyl group, 3,4-di-Cl, 2,4-di-Cl or lower C1-6 alkoxy group, their enanthiomers, diastereoisomers or racemates or their physiologically acceptable acid addition salts, which are new ligands of sigma receptors in cholesterol biosynthesis inhibition and thus suitable for treatment of hypercholesterolemia and hyperlipidemia in humans. The greatest reduction of cholesterol has been found out in the case of 1-(3-pyridil)-2-(N-(2-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)ethyl)-N-propyl-amino) ethanol in the form of a dihydrobromide salt (designation BK-35.2 HBr).</p> |
