The method comprises placing prefabricated concrete girders (1) on support legs (11). The girders have end portions (2a,2b) extending either side an intermediate portion (2c) of predetermined height. At least the first end portion has a height less than that of the intermediate portion. The beams are placed side by side. Concrete is poured over the girders to form a slab (13) so that it has, in line with the intermediate portion, a raised part (13.2) relative to a part of the slab (13.1) extending in line with first end portion. The part of the slab extending in line with the first end portion is covered with earth (14).
