摘要 FIELD: determination of axial moments of inertia. ^ SUBSTANCE: method is used for determining axial moments of inertia and tensors of inertia of bodies in devices which perform programmed rotary movement under condition of friction. Method of determining of tensor of inertia combined with simultaneous determining center of mass concludes in placing the body onto platform having axis of rotation and subjecting the system the programmed slow rotation within limited randomly selected area as well as back anti-symmetrical slow rotation within the same area which rotation follows the slow rotation at back order with angular speed having opposite sign. Speed of rotation has the same value and differs in sign. Applied active rotary moment and angular speed are determined for many angular positions of platform-body system. The values of moment and speed are used for analytical determination of axial moment of inertia and two coordinates of center of mass of body. Six similar tests are used for determining tensor of inertia in point of the body and disposition of center of mass of the body at different angular locations of body at the platform. Platform has randomly oriented axis of rotation. Dissipation of energy through friction and resistance of matter can be significant. Pair of mutual asymmetrical rotary movements can compose two parts of the same reversible movement at the same angular area. Disposition of center of mass in not known in advance and angular measurement area is not connected with disposition of system's balance. Active rotary moment can be the moment of force of any physical nature. Unknown dissipative moment is not the part of active rotary moment. ^ EFFECT: improved precision. ^ 2 dwg
