<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease waste toner of an image recording apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has an image forming part which forms images at specific intervals, a medium storage part which stores mediums, a supply part which supplies the mediums in the medium storage part, a part which detects an amount of mediums remaining in the medium storage part, and an image interval setting processing means which sets image formation intervals based upon the remaining amount of the mediums. In this case, since the image formation intervals are set based upon the remaining amount of the mediums, an image is prevented from being left without being transferred to a medium. Thus, it is not necessary to form an image again. Accordingly, waste toner of the image recording apparatus can be decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
