<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying machine capable of performing the printing of a document designated by an operator out of a document bundle on an ADF by the more number of sheets (copies) than other documents by automatic operation. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus, image data is stored in an image memory 17 in the case of reading the images of a plurality of documents placed on the ADF, and the image forming apparatus is provided with a number-of-sheets counter part 18 being a means for discriminating where the document read at present is positioned in the document bundle, and then discriminated information is put on the image data and stored in the memory 17. If the document read at present is the designated one, the image forming apparatus performs image processing based on the predesignated number-of-sheets information after reading the image data of the document from an image reading part 16 and performs specified printing. If the document read next is the designated one, the above-mentioned processing is performed again, and if the document read is not the designated one, processing is returned to the processing performed for the document before the designated one. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
