PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine, a game control method, and a program capable of improving interest of a selection operation.

SOLUTION: A selection storage unit 52 matches and stores a selection and a depth information. A reference depth information setting unit 54 sets reference depth information. A selection display unit 56 displays the selection on a selection guiding screen based on the set reference depth information and depth information corresponding to the selection. When a determining operation is performed to an operating means, a game control unit 58 controls a game depending on the selection corresponding to the set reference depth information.
