PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for processing payment money settlement capable of reducing work for tax payment.

SOLUTION: This payment money settlement processing system characteristically comprises; a storage device with customer payment information related to payment money of customers stored; a reading means for reading a predetermined part of a payment slip; a decoding means for decoding the information related to the payment money based on the information read by the reading means; a checking means for checking the coded information against the customer payment information stored in the storage device; and a transferring means for transferring the amount to be paid from the account of the customer to the account indicated by the payment slip when coincidence is confirmed by the checking means.
