The door (4), made from a series of articulated sections suspended from rollers running in an overhead rail (3), is moved by a traction carriage (7) powered by an electric motor (6) and a cog engaging with a toothed belt. The traction carriage runs in a separate straight guide rail (8) that lies parallel to one straight section of the suspension rail and has the toothed belt extended inside it, while the carriage is connected to the door by a coupling rod (10).
