PURPOSE: An image projection device having an optical switch is provided to improve light usage efficiency in a signal panel and to prevent boundary lines of beam areas from being overlapped with each other. CONSTITUTION: An image projection device(200) includes a light source(210), a first light transferring section(220), a first optical switch section(230), a second optical switch section(240), an output port section(250), a second light transferring section(260), a rectangular beam generating section(270), a dispersing lens(275), a panel section(280), and a projection lens section(290). The light source(210) radiates plural monochromatic lights. The first light transferring section(220) includes plural optical fibers(222a,222b,222c) and plural collimating lenses(224a,224b,224c). R,G and B laser beams are introduced into the first optical switch section(230).
