摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DRAW (Direct-Read-After-Write) type optical recording medium which is formed by using an organic material capable of performing recording even in a blue wavelength region &le;500 nm, more particularly a wavelength region near 405 nm and which can be made higher in density and greater in modulation degrees, and is further less changed in recording characteristics, such as recording sensitivity, modulation degrees, jitters, and error rates, and reflectivity, etc., as against the fluctuation in recording and reproducing wavelengths, and a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The DRAW type magnetic recording medium is obtained by disposing at least a first light absorption layer essentially consisting of an organic material and a second light absorption layer essentially consisting of a metallic material and/or an inorganic material. (2) The DRAW type magnetic recording medium, as stated in (1), in which the absorbance of the first and second light absorption layers to recording and reproducing light of a blue laser wavelength region &le;500 nm is &le;0.5 and the first light absorption layer has the absorption maximum within a range from a wavelength &lambda;=330 to 400 nm, is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
