<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the so-called closing or the like of a baggage by surely conducting communication with an electronic key even when the electronic key is placed in a helmet storage space. <P>SOLUTION: In an electronic key system for a vehicle with a control device loaded on an actual vehicle 100 and the electronic key transmitting a response signal on the basis of the reception of a request signal transmitted through a transmission antenna 72 from the control device, the actual vehicle 100 has a freely openable and closeable seat 140 on which a user sits, a seat handle 144 and a locking device locking the seat 140 so as not to be opened until a locking release indication is transmitted. The control device has a means in which the locking release indication is outputted to the locking device when the control device collates the response signal and a requirement from the regular user is determined, and the transmission antenna 72 is installed to the left side face of the seat 140 or the seat handle 144. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
