<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide grooved instant noodles reconstitutable in a short time regardless of the width or thickness of noodle ribbons, causing elongation of the reconstituted noodles when boiled, and maintaining a good palate feeling with springiness and feeling on the tongue similar to those of boiled-up noodle, where flavor inherent in soup is kept alive. <P>SOLUTION: The grooved instant noodles have grooves along the longitudinal direction of the noodle ribbons. The cross section of the grooves is formed into a wedged-shape cut in its center direction. The groove depth of the noodle accounts for 10-40% of the thickness of the noodle, the center angle thereof is 30-100°, and the specific gravity of the noodle is 1.35-1.65 g/cm<SP>3</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
