PURPOSE: A motor/generator power conditioner and a method for conditioning a motor/generator are provided to supply and control the starting power, the generated power, and a neutral output by improving a structure of the motor/generator power conditioner. CONSTITUTION: A motor/generator power conditioner(100) includes a rectifier and an inverter. The rectifier(110) is electrically connected to a motor/generator port(120). The inverter(130) is electrically connected to the rectifier and a load port(140). The rectifier and the inverter are used for providing the starting power to the motor/generator port in a starting mode. In addition, the rectifier and the inverter are used for providing the generated power to the load port and generating a neutral output.
