PURPOSE: Provided is an incense stick prepared by using leaves of plane tree, which can reduce the production cost, as compared to the conventional incense stick which is usually prepared using Chinese juniper or Oriental arbor vitae. CONSTITUTION: The incense stick is prepared using leaves of plane tree. The leaves of plane tree are collected and dried in a drier or air-dried at room temperature several times. The dried leaves are steamed with vapor and heat and dried. The dried leaves are pulverized using a grinder. The powder of the leaves is formed into a stick. When the dried leaves are steamed with vapor and heat, additional incenses may be added. The vapor contains moisture of about 60 to 70% and the heat temperature is about 80 deg.C.
