PURPOSE: A cover device for a vehicle is provided to automatically mount and dismantle a cover to and from the vehicle by mounting a cover housing device and a cover operating device. CONSTITUTION: A cover device for a vehicle is composed of a cover housing device(10) installed to the outside of a vehicle body to house a cover of the vehicle and a cover operating device(20) connected with one end of the cover and rotatively disposed to the side of the vehicle body. Two cover housing devices and cover operating devices are mounted to the front and rear of the upper part of the vehicle body, respectively. The cover housing device includes transfer rollers installed to the front and rear of upper and lower parts of the vehicle body; a transfer belt connected and installed to the both front transfer rollers; a driving motor for driving the transfer rollers; the cover fixed to the transfer belt and transferred with the transfer belt; and a cover keeping box(15) fixed to the upper and lower parts of the vehicle body to protect the transfer rollers and the cover from the outside. The cover operating device comprises an outer power device(21) installed to the upper and lower parts of the vehicle body to rotate and a withdrawing bar(22) connected with the outer power device and withdrawn in a multi-stage. The withdrawn end of the withdrawing bar is connected with one end of the cover.
