PURPOSE: Folding structure of a rear seat for a vehicle is provided to promote passenger's safety by independently mounting a rear seatback and a rear seat cushion to a vehicle floor panel and securing the supporting strength of the rear seatback and the rear seat cushion and to simultaneously fold and unfold the rear seatback and the rear seat cushion by simple operation. CONSTITUTION: Folding structure of a rear seat for a vehicle comprises a cushion frame(2) installed in a rear seat cushion(30); plural leg parts(10) fastened to the lower surface of the front and rear end parts of the cushion frame through hinging(19) structure of supporting steps(14) and brackets(12,16), and independently mounted to a vehicle body floor panel(40); first brackets(6) independently mounting the rear seatback together with recliners(20) attached to the sides of the rear seatback, to the vehicle body panel; and a hook-shaped locking arm(22) integrally fastened to the recliner. One side of the rear end part of the cushion frame is protruded, to form a fitting end(4). The hook-shaped locking arm supports the rear seat cushion by locking the fitting end while rotating together according to the rotation of the rear seatback.
