PURPOSE: A surge tank stay of an engine is provided to secure rigidity and lightness of a surge tank while properly intercepting noise exposed to the outside through the lower side of the surge tank. CONSTITUTION: A surge tank stay(1) of an engine comprises a stay plate(3) the upper end of which is fixed to a surge tank(7) and the lower end is fixed to a cylinder block; plural lightening holes(9) formed to the stay plate, to reduce self-weight of the stay plate; and sound insulation pads(5) installed to the stay plate, to shield the lightening holes. The width of the stay plate corresponds to the length of the surge tank. Plural air flow holes(11) are formed to the stay plate.
