摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pin actuator wherein the density of arranged pins is enhanced and yet excellent power saving property and response are obtained, and also to provide an electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The pin actuator comprises: pins 21 installed so that they can be freely reciprocated in the axial direction; vibrating bodies 22 which are caused to vibrate by deformation in piezoelectric elements installed on the side faces of the pins 21 and thereby drive the pins 21; arresting means 26 which arrest the movement of the pins 21 in the directions crossing the axial direction; and energizing means 24 which press the vibrating bodies toward the pins 21. Thus, the pins 21 are driven by the vibrating bodies 22 with respect to the movement in the directions of reciprocation. Therefore, the pins 21 are disposed side by side in the direction crossing the side on which the vibrating bodies 22 are provided. As a result, the density of the arranged pins is enhanced, and the size of the pin actuator is reduced. Further, since the pins 21 are driven by the vibrating bodies 22 with respect to the movement in the directions of reciprocation, the pins are driven with reliability at high speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
