<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve energy efficiency of a vehicle in the middle of changing the gear ratio of a transmission. <P>SOLUTION: When changing the gear ratio of the transmission (S108) since motive power P* required by a driver suddenly increases after stepping an accelerator pedal in the middle of cruising driving, motive power insufficient in motive power outputted from an engine is outputted from a rear wheel motor in preference to a front wheel motor (S110 to S114). As a result, the energy efficiency of the whole vehicle when changing the gear ratio of the transmission can be improved more than when outputting the insufficient motive power by the front wheel motor compelled up to driving of high rotation low torque from driving of low rotation high torque. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
