The telephone has a broadcast-receiving unit managed by a central unit (UC), and storage unit (STOCK) storing data relating to a registered memory (MEM) and having a datum (DEXT) from an external datum source (SED1, SED2). The datum contained in the memory is in response to a command (K1) received by the unit (UC) to restore manual access by the central unit and a restoration unit (REST) from a manual interface machine (1HM). The command is obtained from a command unit (KOM) of the interface, and a broadcasting-receiving circuit (EM-REC) is managed by the central unit. An Independent claim is also included for a procedure to safeguard a numerical card.
