<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a setup advantageous in energizing a rectified power supply 10 and thus enhance the power factor of the rectified power supply 70 (alternating-current power supply). <P>SOLUTION: A control circuit is used in an inverter which control circuit alternately turns on and off a first switching element 11 and a second switching element 12 so that short on-periods are formed for the first switching element and long on-periods are formed for the second switching element. Further, the inverter is set up so that the current 132 of a second flywheel diode 32 flows by way of the rectified power supply 70 to a first capacitor 81 to a second capacitor 82 in series. The former acts so as to intensify the current 132 (so as to enrich the electromagnetic energy of an inductive load 40 which becomes the source of the current). The current 132 is routed so that it flows in the forward direction with respect to the rectified power supply 70, and the power factor is thereby enhanced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
