<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide soft fish food where liquid seasonings easily permeate. <P>SOLUTION: The fish food is obtained by compressing a dry fish slice regulated to have 15-25 wt.% of water content and the temperature of 80-150°C, between a pair of rotating toothed rollers to alternately form a lot of uneven portions, and cutting muscular fibers. The dry fish slice is obtained by shaving the dry fish along its muscular fibers, and a lot of uneven portions formed on the dry fish slice are arranged so as to cross the array direction of the muscular fibers at right angles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
