<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow information processing equipment whose use can previously be reserved to be started to use on user's turn by previously inputting attributes, in the equipment, which are set at the time of using the equipment. <P>SOLUTION: The attribute preset information processing equipment has a mechanism for reserving its use and comprises the following means (1)-(5): (1) a transmitting-receiving means which has attribute items set by a user in relation to use of the equipment and performs communication with an external terminal, (2) a user administering means to administer a user by associating equipment attribute setting information, UserID and user's contact address information received by the receiving means through the external terminal, (3) an information storage means to store equipment attribute information, User ID and user's contact address, (4) a user authenticating means to authenticate a user from individual identifying information such as User ID or user's contact address inputted by an input means which accepts input from the user or by the transmitting-receiving means, (5) an attribute setting means to read out attribute setting information from the information storage means and to set attributes in the equipment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
