<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for highly sterilizing without heating raw materials of fresh processed food for eating in the raw such as green onion. <P>SOLUTION: The method for sterilizing food comprises soaking vegetables or fish eggs in sodium hypochlorite solution followed by addition of vinegar, leaving the product as it is for given time, dehydrating the product and then soaking the vegetables or the fish eggs in acid phosphate solution. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
