<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opinion and the like exchange server device by which opinions about an article can be exchanged between a consumer and a company or among the consumers on a network. <P>SOLUTION: The opinion and the like exchange server device is a server device to which a terminal of an article supply company and terminals of the consumers are connected via the network. The server device concerned stores a plurality of types of article information in association with the corresponding article identification information in its storage part, can transmit the article information to the terminals of the consumers, and stores a chat means, which allows the terminals of the consumers and article supply company to input, in its storage part.
