PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that manages medical electronic data such as an electronic medical chart and a medical image.

SOLUTION: The medical data management system 1 provides opportunities for effectively using medical electronic data. A patient is able to read his or her electronic medical chart through a user terminal 18 and a diagnostic reading doctor etc., is able to diagnose a medical image such as a CT image through a terminal 20 installed outside a hospital.
