<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce electric power consumption under a power save mode to the utmost, and to conduct accurate restoration to the present time. <P>SOLUTION: A hand operation is continued up to a count value corresponding to hand positions indicating "just 12 o'clock 00 minute 00 second" when moving an operation mode from a display mode to a power saving mode, and a supply of an electric power source to all the circuits excepting for a power generation detecting circuit 91 is stopped thereafter by breaking all the circuits excepting for the power generation detecting circuit 91 from a high capacity secondary power source 48. When moving from the power saving mode to the display mode, a time data is received via an antenna 26, and counter values in a second time counter 98 and a hour and minute time counter 99 are set to the present time based on the received time data, to start a restoration operation to the present time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
